ENGLAND.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, scroll-back action with slender standing breech, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, double rolled-edge triggerguard, fully engraved with acanthus scrollwork, the underside engraved with the model designation in an oval, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 5/8in. well-figured stock, cast on for the left shoulder, weight 6lb. 10oz., in its lightweight canvas and leather case
